About Us
Ardscoil Éanna is a voluntary Catholic lay school for boys and girls. As such it supports the religious and educational philosophy of its founder James J. O’Byrne. Our school, while being a Catholic school, welcomes students of all cultures and religious denominations.
Ardscoil Éanna promotes the development of the whole person with a holistic approach to children’s development. A strong emphasis is placed on the preparation of the student to enter society with both the academic qualifications and social skills to do so.
The principal and staff are committed to providing a caring and disciplined environment aimed at developing the moral, academic, social, aesthetic, physical and spiritual education of the students.
The small class sizes enable the school and teachers to cater for the needs of individual students with special concern and support being shown for the disadvantaged. It also enables the development of solid interpersonal relationships between pupils and staff. This can be seen in the excellent results achieved by both our Leaving and Junior Certificates students for many years.
